Galvanizers Association of Australia (GAA)

The Galvanizers Association of Australia (GAA) is an industry body with membership made up of all the major Australian hot-dip galvanizers, zinc processors and industry suppliers. Hot Dip Galvanizing is a proven, cost effective and environmentally sound solution for extending the life of uncoated steel in all situations. The GAA’s primary goal is to promote the development of existing and new uses of hot dip galvanized coatings and to improve techniques, safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the hot dip galvanizing industry. Our hot-dip galvanizing members 35 plants, located in every capital city and many regional centres in Australia, employ around 3,000 people and have a processing capability to protect over 750,000 tonnes of steel per annum.

The GAA provide free of charge, fact-based, unbiased information regarding the performance, durability, sustainability, and maintenance-free nature of galvanized steel to specifiers, engineers, students and other interested people.
